About Us

Vinomondo Winery started the wine tasting trend in 2004, making us the oldest and most experienced in the area. With our winemaking experience and knowledge, it paved the way for other wineries in the Thumb region. During this journey, we started making batches for our customers as well as retailing wine and beer supplies. Once we became licensed to sell wines by the bottle, Vinomondo then expanded its retail presence with a Gift Shoppe, offering beer and wine collectables.

Renovations were made by taking down two walls to establish two new tasting rooms and a kitchen to create succulent pizzas and other specialties.

Not being satisfied there, Vinomondo has now expanded its offerings to include unique wine blends developed by, and only available at, Vinomondo Winery.

AND NOW…Vinomondo Winery has been named “Best Winery” in Detroit by the Detroit Free Press’ Community’s Choice Awards. The Detroit Community Choice Awards rank companies as “Best of the Best” in more than 150 categories. These awards celebrate the best businesses and organizations in the area, nominated and voted on by the public to determine the finalists and winners. For 2024, Vinomondo Winery was recognized in the “Best Winery” category.
